The ALXTHOR 600 RAD is more than just a radius platen. It’s a complete platen upgrade designed to add convex grinding capability, greater adjustability, and even more functionality to the ALXTHOR Rapid Angle Setting System on compatible VEVOR- and Toolcker-style 1×30 belt grinders.
At the heart of the 600 RAD is a 600mm radius platen, giving you a controlled belt curve for creating and refining convex edges, blending, thinning, and other sharpening and grinding operations where a traditional flat platen isn’t ideal.
But we didn’t stop there.
The ALXTHOR 600 RAD also adds adjustable flat-platen distance, allowing you to change the relationship between the belt and flat platen for greater control over your grinding setup. When combined with the ALXTHOR Rapid Angle Setting System, this added adjustability makes an already versatile 1×30 sharpening platform even more capable.
